Our Story

“Without Respect, Love is Lost. Without Caring, Love is Boring. Without Honesty, Love is Unhappy, Without Trust Love is Unstable”.

The Byrds

Overcoming obsticals and objectives is what life is all about. The Byrds have been through the fire and back out have a story of redemption and forgiveness. During the course of their 10 years of marriage, the first few were hard. It all began when they took a journey of a lifetime to move from Alaska to San Diego California.

Seeking the beautiful weather, opportunity, and a better lifestyle they set out. Both being in the Fitness and Coaching industry they know their chances of making a big impact in changing lives through health and fitness certainly had to be in San Diego.

Once arriving in San Diego with limited funds and no jobs they were faced with many difficulties. Forced to move to several different living situations and on the verge of being homeless Lacey and Nathan began to let the stesses of life begin to infiltrate their decisions.

Eventually their dreams of achieving “success” started to dwindle as did their relationship. You could imagine the stress of barely having money in one of the most expensive cities in America, and newly married figuring out each other’s habits, interests and flaws was extremely difficult.

These two love Byrds eventually separated for over a year…

Their world was broken and on the verge of divorce they were faced with the harsh reality they would possibly never be with each other again. Asking the questions why this happened, and what did they do to have caused such an awful situation. It wasn’t until they stopped asking ‘Why” and started asking HOW can they make it better.

Their faith and fervency to make their relationship a priority, ability to forgive and move toward repair they both agreed was their only option. Being separated for over a year they knew there was work to be done. They both were determined to make their relationship the absolute best they could so they enrolled in multiple marriage retreats, worked with top coaches, read all of the books they could find on marital success and sought out mentorship to provide them the necessary tools to become a strong couple and shield themselves from the distractions that can be brought to them in this world.

It is now their burning desire to transfer knowledge and walk together with couples who are building their lives together to combat and protect those they serve from experiencing the trauma they had gone through. They shine hope to the hopeless and know your marriage is worth fighting for!
